Making Scents For Baby

Smell is the only sense that is fully developed in humans at birth.

It's not surprising that babies respond quite readily to aromatherapy. A diffuser comes in handy when using essential oils for aromatherapy, but keep in mind that essential oils should never be used "neat" (undiluted) in a diffuser in a baby's room.

Their concentration is too strong for little lungs. Instead, dilute the essential oil in a base oil, such as jojoba or sweet almond.
